Keep the conversation.
Start with what was discussed: the selections, inclusions, allowances, and questions that deserve a place in the project.
A clearer scope. A better handoff.
Catch the gap between the customer conversation and the proposal—before it becomes work you didn’t price.
In development for remodelers & design-build teams.
“Yes, replacing those
two windows is included.”
An illustrative scope check. Your team makes the call.
01 / The familiar problem
“But your salesperson said
that was included.”
The walkthrough was clear. The proposal was a little less clear. Now your crew is on-site, the customer expects more, and someone has to make it right.
Saidso is being built to catch those gaps while there’s still time to clarify them.
A detail. A selection. An inclusion.
A missing line. An assumption.
Extra work. An awkward conversation.
02 / A better handoff
A proposed workflow that gives sales, estimating, and production the same starting point.
Start with what was discussed: the selections, inclusions, allowances, and questions that deserve a place in the project.
Compare the conversation with the proposal. Surface missing commitments and separate firm agreements from open questions.
Your team reviews the gaps, clarifies expectations, and updates the scope before signing and handing the job to production.
03 / See the difference
Explore three sample findings. Because a confirmed promise and a passing question shouldn’t be treated the same.
“Yes, replacing those two windows is included.”
Salesperson · confirmed commitment
Bathroom remodel. Demolition, tile, vanity, and fixtures.
Illustrative proposal excerpt
Window replacement was confirmed in the conversation, but does not appear in this sample proposal.
Illustrative example, not a live product result. Your team reviews every finding.
For the handoff that can’t afford a guess.
For remodeling and design-build teams where the person who sells the job isn’t always the person who builds it.
A few things, clarified.
We’re early. Here’s where things stand.
Saidso is an early-stage product concept for checking contractor sales conversations against written proposals. The goal is to help teams spot missing scope, unclear allowances, and commitments that need review before the customer signs.
Our initial focus is remodeling and design-build companies where sales, estimating, and production are handled by different people. That handoff is where an important detail can get lost.
Saidso is in development. Early access is an invitation to share your workflow and help shape the product, not immediate access to a finished application. A launch date and pricing have not been set.
No. A customer request, a tentative statement, and a confirmed inclusion are different. The proposed workflow keeps those distinctions visible and asks your team to review the finding before making a decision.
A capture method has not been selected yet. We are exploring ways to work with recordings and proposal documents. Specific devices, file formats, and integrations are still being evaluated.
Consent, access controls, retention, and deletion need to be defined before a recording pilot begins. This landing page does not accept recordings or project documents. Those details will be shared before anyone is asked to provide them.
Help shape Saidso from the start.
If a forgotten promise has ever followed you onto a job, we’d like to hear about it. Help shape a clearer path from conversation to scope.
We’re preparing a way for interested teams to get involved. Check back here for details.
